the Cost of Bicycle Repair

I had a lot of wear on my bike and had never taken it anywhere for any kind of maintainence. At this place they did everything from aligning the handlebars to straightening out spokes, greasing the chain, tightening up hardware, and I think they even shined the chrome, too.

I was amazed at how many things were wrong with my Mongoose bike. I mean, it is intended to be a bike that one does tricks on, so it is sturdy, but I have had it for almost nine months and all through that time I really put it through a lot.

This repair shop I took it to is a smaller scale shop, but with big scale work.

I am pleased with the attentioin to detail and the quality of work done at this shop.

My spokes were straightened, hardware tightened, handlebars aligned, tires filled, and even the chrome parts were shiny when I got my bike back.

It honestly looks better now than when I bought it.

The price can't be beaten. The amount of work that was done on my bike was estimated to be in the low hundreds by a few other shops.

The quality is worth every penny i paid and more.

When searching for bike repair shops, look for people who know what they are doing. Ask general questions, but ask bran specific questions too. If you have a basic bike you may be fine with just any place, but remember that what you consider to be a minor task can come with a hefty price from certain shops. Your best bet is to shop around.
