I was having problems with vision in one eye. It was becoming incresingly hard to focus and causing tears in both eyes. I went to an opthamologist whom a very close friend had used a few months earlier. After ony a few days I was able get an appointment. He gave me a complete eye examination and explained my problems and suggested laser surgey in his office. The $1,190 was for the exam, surgery and follow-up exam, plus medication.

The doctor was very personable yet extremely professioal. I received an excellent exam and he fully explained to me and my wife the problems. How they could be corrected and the risks involved in the surgery and not having surgery. We both felt very confident in his abilities and I had the surgery. There was nothing negative about the procedure or any after effects. I took medications and wore an eye patch for five days. Based on the result of the operation, I feel it was well worth the costs as it saved my sight. No dollar cost can be placed on it.

If you require eye surgery be sure of the doctor and his qualifications. Ask any and all questions before the operation and fully understand the risks involved. Have someone with you when talking to the doctor. Ask about what to expect after the operation.
