Description of service
My regular eye doctor recommended a specialist in Seattle as he found a macular problem. It took a month to schedule an appointment. The cost just to see the doctor was $150.00 payable at that time. They would not file insurance. The specialist's office was really very nice with all up to date equipment. I was taken in the examining room by a technician. He ran through all the normal exams you get when having your eyes tested. I was given the glaucoma test, and then my eyes were dilated. I had to wait about 15 minutes. The doctor then came in with the technician and began his exam. He ran various tests. It took about 30 minutes. I was then lead out to the waiting room again.
Review of Service
Once back in the waiting room, I waited about 15 minutes and was called to come to the doctor's office. The doctor came in, sat down and starting explaining what he had found. He was very good and was explicit on his explanation. He even drew diagrams for me. He carefully explained what he felt I needed to have done. I agreed and scheduled for another appointment. His staff was very helpful setting us the procedure and explained they would now accept my insurance and file it for me.
