Description of service
I have a family phone plan for four cell phones. I pay around $130.00 monthly. This service includes 1000 anytime minutes, free nights (after 7:00) and weekends, and 1000 text messages, which is shared among the four phones. We have three way calling, call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding, and voicemail included. We also have 10 phone numbers (cell phone and land line) that we can call free of charge. The first two phones are included in the basic price plan of $79.00, and each additional phone is $15.00. The other charges, such as, relay service charges, 911 service charges, and the regulatory and admin fees total around $12.00 a month. Taxes equal around $8.00 a month.
Review of Service
I feel satisfied with the quality of service I receive for this phone plan. The cost for four telephones is very reasonable. We receive a good signal in the area that we live in, which is in the country. I have had other cell phone companies and paid more than I do now and did not receive a good signal around the area of my house. The downside is that the phone company is not as wide spread as certain other phone companies, so I do not get a good signal in certain areas. This, however, will change in the future for the phone company I use is constantly growing.
Tips
Before purchasing a phone plan, make sure you do some research. Ask friends, family, and acquaintances which cell phone company they are with and if they are happy with it. This has helped me when making a decision. Do not go with the company that is offering the lowest price on cell phones because you may end up having a company that charges more and does not have good service. This happened to a family member of mine, and she was stuck paying for a phone that did not work, and she did not get a signal most of the time.
