Review of Service
I have been with my cell phone provider since 2000, and for the most part they are not a bad company. Our contracts were up not too long ago, and we checked into other cell phone service providers and decided that it was best for the price to stay with them for another two years. On our family plan I have two cell phone lines with 800 shared minutes. I don't think we have ever gone over the 800 minutes, but we have come close. I rarely ever have any dropped calls - and except for our vacations up to the wilderness - most of the time I have great reception. I have to say though that customer service has not been very helpful at the customer service stores - but I've always had good customer service over the phone. (This is one of the reasons we looked into other providers - because the customer service at the stores is not that great.) They always seems to be too busy and understaffed. My husband waited over an hour for service when his phone stopped working and then they told him that they could not help him out. We did end up getting him a new phone. But when our contracts expired were were able to get two new phones when we signed our new contracts. I do think that we will look at them again and other cell phone service providers when our contracts are up again - just to make sure we are getting the best deal. And oh-yah if you are looking to renew your contract with them if you ask they will give you 10% off each line for coming back - which I thought was a plus!
Tips
Definately check the internet for current deals and specials and shop around for the plan that will suit your needs. Check the phone service area and make sure that you will have service in the areas you will be the most.
