Description of service
Starting in March of 2008 I switched to a fiber optics telephone service. This took me from my lousy old phone service to one where I could easily place calls to anywhere I needed to. The total price for the fiber optics telephone service was 40 dollars a month.
Review of Service
I feel that for the price of 40 dollars a month I got a spectacular service. I could talk on the phone as much as I wanted without having to worry about increasing fees, unless I called outside of the United States of America, Canada, or Puerto Rico. The network reliability of the product is 99.9%, and it also functions during emergencies and power outages. The best part of the service was the reduction in crackling and distortion of voices over the phone. The bad part of the service was the fact that you had to be careful whenever you made calls outside the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico because your bill could really start to increase depending on how long you talked. I feel that overall the service was worth the 40 dollars a month I paid for it.
Tips
I suggest for anyone that is the market to buy fiber optics telephone service is that you look around and take all benefits into account when signing up for a service. I wish that before this experience I would have known how much better fiber optics service is than normal phone service.
