Description of service
Monthly service charge for fiber optic telephone service. All local calls included in monthly price, long distance calls extra over a certain amount of minutes. Installations charge was extra as well, included in the first bill. Internet and cable not included in telephone price.
Review of Service
The installation appointment was easy to set up, but appointments were not available right away--it took a couple of weeks before telephone service was actually installed. Installation only took about an hour and a half. In addition to installing the telephone service they also installed a battery backup pack in the garage for instances when the power may go out, you will still have phone service. Necessary exterior wires were run along the base of the house and were covered with protectors that were the color of the house. Have never had a problem with service from fiber optic lines--no interruptions or times when it was not available.
Tips
If you know you are moving, set up the installation ahead of time before you move in or you may be without telephone service if appointments are not available right away.
If they install a battery backup always keep it plugged in so it is charged.
