the Cost of Installation for Satellite Internet Access

I kind of live out in the country, and traditional high speed internet access like cable or DSL is not available where I live, so I had a nationally known satellite cable television providor install a special dish for me to get high speed access. The installation was free because I had to sign up on a contract. It is a two year contract, and I had to agree to a large fee if I wanted to cancel my service before the two years were up.

I am very happy with this service. It was a great deal because it was free. I know I had to sign a contract, but that is okay because I really don't have another choice if I want high speed access. Of coarse, I was using dial up internet which was just way too slow. Now that i'm into downloading music, this satellite service has been exactly what I needed.

If you're like me, you don't have many options when it comes to high speed internet access. But if you live closer to the city, the monthly charges for DSL and Cable are actually cheaper than what I pay. If you have to get satellite, check the major companies, and even the smaller ones, to see who has the best deal.
