the Cost of Installation for Satellite Internet Access

The $359 included the charges for equipment and installation with no extras. We personally purchased a post for the satellite to be attached to and installed it in a hole we ourselves dug. We also poured the concrete so the pole would be steady and we dug the trench for the cable to be placed in. The $359 included the satellite dish, the cable, aligning the dish with the satellite, and making sure that my computer was set up to handle the satellite internet. The monthly price of the service is $55 for the most basic package.

The service was performed within days of us calling and telling them that we had everything in place for them (the pole erected, the concrete poured, the trench dug, etc.). The total amount of time that the installer was here was well under 2 hours. He was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what to expect.

Research your options carefully and decide if you really NEED instant gratification, or if you can wait until a better product is available.

If anything is not considered "basic" in your installation, it will cost you extra. We did everything we could so we would not have to pay that extra cost. It was easy to do, even more so when we realized how much money we were saving.
