I got the full body/back side acupuncture to reduce my blood pressure as my general practitioner prescribed but only he only knew of places that were really expensive. This was a half hour session (after all needles were placed which took about ten minutes and add another ten for them to be removed). There were no gratuities, and I believe the materials were certainly included in the price.

I believe the service helped me a lot. The amount of stress from my work and other affairs requires careful attention so I don't over do myself and this service was just the thing. Despite the hole in the wall office and the one man operation it was a deserved price. Acupuncture isn't cheap and I dared to go for this place because I needed to save the money. The practitioner was nice though and did have his degree from a professional school.

Make sure that the equipment they use is sterile, one place before this had their own cleaning operation, I would recommend places that either send their needles out to a professional cleaning firm or someone who uses new needles in every session. You wouldn't want to get what the person before you had if anything!
