Description of service
I paid for a group dog training class that met once a week for 8 weeks. There were about 8 other dogs in the class that helped because they were distracting so your dog had to learn to listen and cooperate with distractions. Their was one trainer who had be working with dogs for many years and at each class she told you what you were learning. You brought your own treats or she had some if you forgot. Your dog also got a graduation at the end. The training was located inside of a pet supply store which made it easy to go purchase things you needed when you finished.
Review of Service
Because my trainer was so well informed about dogs and the needs and tempers of dogs she was extremely helpful in not only training my dog but also fixing problems I was having at home with my dog. It was great that there were other dogs so that your dog would also become competitive and try to do the tricks. It was easy to reschedule and they made sure the dogs in your class were about the same age and size.
Tips
I would definitely reccomend a class style training rather than a training one on one. I would also go somewhere where they can easily accomodate if you miss a class. You should go to a class first and try it out and then you can sign up. The knowledge of the trainer is very easy.
