the Cost of Dog Training

I have a German Shepherd that is very domineering. The training was six weeks long. I took him once a week. So for forty dollars I obviously thought it was great. The kind of training I did was called clicker training. I used a small clicker and a treat when I gave the command. We went over very simple commands like sit, lay, and stay. We also did more advanced commands like roll over, no jumping and a long stay.

I actually thought I was getting a really good deal for this dog training.

My German shepherd is now done with the training and still isn't completely trained. He still jumps on people. He still doesn't lay down when you tell him the first time or second time for that matter. He is a little calmer but we still have problems with him.

With this training we even did leash training but once again my dog doesn't like to be told what to do. When we take walks which is every day sometimes twice a day. He pulls the leash. He thinks he needs to walk at least two feet a head of you. I am not sure how to break this . I have bought a choker collar and tried keeping him right beside me. That is just a pain and not to mention hard to do. I am now trying a training collar that hopefully will keep him out of the road and on to better manners.

Wrapping this up I think it's safe to say paying something that is so cheap isn't always the best thing to do.
