the Cost of Hair Cuts for Kids

Haircut only - no shampoo, no extra frills, just a boy's haircut, and a fairly simple one at that. I also got my own hair cut at the same time.

I was a little worried going into the place, because it is one of the cheapie chains; I was worried that my son and I would come out looking like Hitler or Frankenstein. I was not reassured by the staff's appearance and manner - they looked like trailer-dwellers, and talked that way, too. But once they got going, the haircut was fast, tailored to what I wanted, and well-done. My son and I have the same haircut, and we came out looking like twins - he was happy to look like Daddy (if he only knew!), and I was pleased with it myself. They asked up front in simple terms what we wanted, had us check it out when finished, and knew how to get information from a hair ignoramus like me. I was totally satisfied, much more so than with the 3X more expensive cut I'd gotten at a fancy place the last time!

Don't judge a book by its cover; this place doesn't look like much, but the staff knows their stuff! Also, don't be afraid to say what you really want. Sometimes it's easy to be intimidated - I don't have the slightest idea of what "faded in back" means - but you can make yourself understood if you're firm and ask questions.
