Description of service
My 10 year old received a simple wash, cut, and style. We had requested a specific stylist and conditoner.
Review of Service
No appointments are taken. This is a first come first serve salon. You can request a specific stylist, but pay an additonal $2.00 to do so. You can also request conditioner during the wash but pay an additonal $1.00 for that. We opted for conditioner. Being new to the salon we did not request anyone as we did not know them. The stylist that was available for my daughter did not seem to have a people personality. She rarely spoke to my daughter, but rather spoke to colleagues. She never asked about water temperature. My daughter had to tell her it was getting too warm. She was abrupt with my daughter and just did not take the time I felt she should have. Consequently, my daughter really did not enjoy the special glamour time and did not want to go back again.
Tips
We were new to the area. Ask co-workers, friends, and family where they go and why. If you feel uncomfortable or feel the stylist just isnt friendly...stop her before she starts. You will most likely not enjoy the experience and may end up with a bad cut.
