Description of service

My husband has very thick back hair. He had it waxed before we went on vacation. The cost was $70 and he tipped $15.

Review of Service

There were definitely ups and downs to this. First the good. It did remove all of his hair and once his back healed it was very smooth and nice for weeks. The people who worked on him were very nice. They kept the appointment time well and got him out of there quickly.

The downsides. Well, first of all there was the pain associated with it. He came home and was in pain for more than a day. It also really irritated his back at first. There were red bumps all over him. Luckily we had him get it done a week before we were leaving on vacation so by the time he was seen in public it had cleared up. Once it started growing back in again, it really itched him a lot. He wasn't able to get it re-waxed until the hair had grown to a certain length and by that time he didn't want to do it again.

Tips

There is pain and itching involved, be aware of that. Ask the waxer if they recommend any lotions or ointments to combat these things.
