I got the small of my back waxed. The total for the service was $30 plus tax and I gave a tip that brought the total to $40.
Review of Service
As I've gotten older I've started getting hair on parts of my body that I'm not used. It's been very embarrassing so I decided that I would get the small of my back waxed to eliviate some of this embarrassment.
I'd had other parts of my body waxed before so I was ready for the pain. It actually ended up hurting less than other parts of my body I've had waxed. The person who did the waxing wasn't very friendly but that was fine with me because in awkward situations like this I prefer not to talk rather than have silly chit chat.
The place I got it done wasn't very clean. I wouldn't say it was exactly dirty but I'm used to places like salons feeling incredibly hygenic and I wouldn't describe this place that way. There were wet spots on the counters and some hair that wasn't swept up right away, etc. It wasn't enough to really be gross but I like places sparkling clean.
Tips
If you're used to other waxing, back waxing isn't as bad as other areas. Be sure the place you're going to is very clean.
