Description of service
Our 5 ton unit went out in the latter part of July in southeast Texas! It was sweltering hot and we looked all over the place for a replacement. We looked into buying a used unit, but that fell through. We called many people and got price quotes from $1100-$6400. We could have saved $400.00 by waiting a few days longer, but in this terrible heat who could stand it?
Review of Service
The repairman was very empathetic to our problem. His business is about 2 hours from our home and he was able to fit us into his schedule THAT DAY! No more sweating just sitting still in my own home. He came out unloaded the new a/c unit and hauled off the old one. He was very pleasant to deal with. He was also very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing.
Tips
When you go to replace your a/c unit make sure you do your homework. There are some people out there who would like to just make all their money for the season in one day. Call around get the best price for the best value. It is also a very good idea to make sure that they are licensed and insured.
