Description of service
This printing company helped me to design a logo as well as to decide on layout and font for my non profit organization's letterhead. They print stationery, page 2 stationery, envelopes and notepads.
Review of Service
The rep I worked with was very helpful. She visited me at home and brought samples of letterhead her company had printed for other companies and organizations. I showed her some samples of graphics and artwork that I wanted to incorporate into my letterhead, and she used these examples to help me design a perfect logo.
The logo was then positioned on my letterhead, notepads and envelopes, each with a slightly different look and feel. The design work was free with the printing costs, provided I ordered 500 each of the envelopes and letterhead sheets, and 20 of the 50-page notepads.
The printing job itself took three days. I came to look at proofs the day after the rep's visit. I was very pleased with the quality of the jobs, and the convenience of being able to obtain personalized stationery locally. I was only disappointed that the company offered no discount on future orders.
Tips
Be sure to have a clear idea of what you would like your letterhead to look like. Have some logo ideas for the designer to work with. Choose your paper carefully -- I went with a not so high grade of paper, but could have easily paid twice as much if I'd wanted something thicker or fancier.
