Description of service
This was for our basic business letterhead, including 250 pieces color-matched, logoed formal business stationary on watermarked paper stock, as well as 500 pieces of the same letterhead on 20 pound white paper in black and white for less formal uses.
Review of Service
We use a small commercial as opposed to a larger, chain printer, and we have always received very good quality and service for all of our printed needs. Smaller print shops are more apt to do our items, including letterhead and business cards as offset printing, and this gives them the ability to match our logo color exactly. Many larger printers will just run these jobs through color copiers, and we do not get the same quality that offset printing affords.
Tips
We are much more particular about the color and quality of our formal letterhead that we use for formal mailings, important letters, and other things that require a littler more formality than fax cover sheets or quick notes. It is important that will look for a printer that will do things according to your specifications and not just what is easiest for them. That is why we continue to go to a smaller printer rather than a larger one. At a chain store, we might be able to save a little money, but the smaller shops are more apt to treat our smaller jobs as important and give us the attention to detail that we feel we deserve.
