We gave the printing and design company the text we wanted to put on the letterhead and the company seal. They gave us three letterhead designs and 20 types of letter-sized paper to choose from. The company was very easy to deal with, letting us mix and match the details from the three design options (e.g, we ended up using the font from one design combined with the lay-out of another).

Aside from the initial meeting to select the paper and the color of the font, all our communications were done via e-mail so it was very convenient for our company. We got the finished product one week after we gave our final approval for the design.

For reorders, all we needed to do was e-mail them a PDF copy of the current letterhead and they were able to print and deliver within a week.

Make sure to canvass several printing companies in order to get the best possible deal.

As much as possible, stick to established printers so that when it's time to reorder, the printing company is still around and you don't have to go through the process of designing your letterhead all over again.
