the Price of Food Delivery

On a trip to Los Angles this summer, I was deciding what to do for dinner. I did not have a rental car and was staying with a friend. I found an Italian restaurant with a great pasta dish. The only problem was that the restaurant was dine in or take out service only and was far to far to walk. I decided to call a food delivery service to pick up the food for me. The cost of the service was twenty dollars in addition to the price the restaurant charges for the items I was ordering. I also tipped the delivery person five dollars bringing my total cost for the food delivery service up to twenty five dollars. (The food itself was also about twenty five dollars bringing the price of the meal up to fifty dollars for two people.)

I was very happy with this service. I could have just ordered a pizza delivery but the food was of a much higher quality than the typical restaurant that delivers offers. I did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. The restaurant took twenty minutes and fifteen minutes later my food arrived at the door!

This is definitely a luxury service as it is quite pricey. However, it is a nice way to treat yourself. I would recommend calling a few places and comparing prices before choosing the delivery service that you will be using.
