We ordered lunch for 2 from a local restaurant who offers delivery. The total for our food, delivery and tip was $25.00.
Review of Service
My husband and I split a rib dinner from a local restaurant. It included a full slab of ribs, fries, garlic bread and a choice of soup or salad. We ended up also ordering an additional soup. The total for the food was $17.00, the delivery fee was $3.00 and I gave a $5.00 tip.
The delivery time was very fast. The restaurant is only a few blocks from our apartment but I have gotten much slower service for other places that were just as close. We placed our order on the internet and they called to clarify our choice in soup, which we appreciated.
The food was of average quality, although getting an entire rack of ribs with sides and delivery for $25.00 we didn't expect the food to be gourmet. Our entire experience with this place was very positive. We didn't really have any complaints as far as feeling we got our money's worth.
Tips
If you're ordering cheap food, don't expect it to be of high quality. Try to order during off-peak times to get faster service and also to ensure your food is freshly prepared.
