the Price of Online DVD Rentals

I joined a program that allowed me to have 3 DVDs at a time rented from the internet. I was able to keep them as long as I wanted, but wouldn't be sent a new one until I'd sent one back. All shipping charges were handled by them. I paid $19.95 for my monthly service.

Overall, the idea of this service is great. You basically have an online list of the movies you want and they send them out to you in the order your decide. So whenever it strikes you that you want a new movie you can add it to your list, which I found really helpful as I hate spending an hour wandering around the video store trying to figure out what to rent.

Also, their selection was huge, I was really impressed.

The issue I had though, that eventually led me to cancel, was that a lot of the times the movies wouldn't show up. I don't know if my neighbors were stealing them somehow or what the deal was. They were forgiving at first and just sent a new movie out but eventually they told me if I kept having movies disappear they'd have to charge me, so I was forced to cancel.

Make sure if you use this kind of service that you live in an area with secured mailboxes so that you'll be sure to get your movies.
