Here is the price breakdown for everything that I had payed for: Parts and Labor-$1800.00; Tax-$117.00. For a grand total of $1917.00.

This service involved having the transmission rebuilt for a minivan. The van was dropped off on a Tuesday evening, and I left the keys in the drop-off box, as they were already closed for the day. When I called the next day, I was told that it wouldn't be done until the end of the week because it was a difficult job. When I called them on Friday, they told me the transmission work was done but was yet to be installed back in the van. After inquiring about information on the typical amount of time it takes for such repairs to have to wait at least a few days for completion. So far, it has been a little over 4 months since the repair. As of this writring, it seems to be holding up pretty well so far. I would have to say that I'm pretty happy with the service so far.

With all of the repair shops out there, finding one that you could trust can be difficult at best. Word of mouth seems to be the best recommendation to find a reputable shop. It's how I found out about this one.
