Description of service

This summer I paid $125 for a pottery class. The cost includes the class meeting twice a week for 4 weeks, the instructor, the wheel and clay materials and the kiln and glossing process for 3 projects of your choice.

Review of Service

Pottery is always something that I have wanted to try, and this summer I decided to go for it. The class is for all levels and the instructor is absolutely great. She does a general technique lesson for the first 10-15 minutes of each class and then helps each person individually with their projects. She is very encouraging and knowledgeable. The school takes excellent care of our projects in between classes and even allows people to come in an hour a week outside of class time to work on their projects if they would like. They then take your 3 chosen projects to gloss and put in the kiln so you have some amazing pieces to take home to show for all your hard work. One student even had to miss a class due to a sick child, and the school and instructor set up a make-up class for her!

Tips

Definitely check out the local community colleges in your area. They have great facilities and instructors and are usually very affordable.
