Description of service
This is the price we paid to send our daughter to a week long pottery class at a local pottery studio. The price included all materials, an apron, and taxes. The classes were everyday for one week (Monday thru Friday) for five hours a day. There were five other students in her class. The students focused on a different pottery piece everyday; so, they brought home five pieces of pottery at the end of the week. These included a plate, a vase, a coffee mug, a decorative plaque, and a Father's Day gift of their choice (my daughter did another mug).
Review of Service
My daughter really enjoyed these classes and learned alot. She actually created each piece, helped fire it in the oven (with help from the instructor), and then painted it. Many of the pieces look a bit odd, but we think they are true pieces of art and so does she! I think this was a very reasonable price and a great value.
Tips
If you have an artistic child, consider pottery classes. They are lots of fun and children really get a chance to express themselves. Ask friends and family if they know of a pottery studio in your area or do a little research online.
