the Cost of Private Preschools

We are paying $890 a month for a preschool. The school day runs from 8:30 to 12:45. The school also provides a warm lunch every day. Transportation to the school is provided by the parent/guardian of the student. The children all have music, P.E. and Spanish lessons during the week beyond the typical school day activities. The students also go outside almost everyday regardless of the weather. The only days the students don't go outside for recess are if it is raining too hard. Temperature never seems to play a role in whether there is a recess session or not. The classroom is run by one teacher and one assistant. There are approximately 20 students in the class.

My child likes her school very very much. She looks forward to helping her teachers throughout the day. She also looks forward to the work assignments she gets. There has not been a day in the two years she has gone there that she has complained about going to school.

Success at any school takes effort on all parts. As a parent you have to remember the school is the domain of the teachers. If you work with them and leave the classroom to them you and your child will have a much more pleasurable experience.
