the Cost of Private Preschools

My daughter attends preschool from 9am - 11:30am two morning per week. The cost is $88 per month for two days. It is $135 per month for 3 mornings per week. Children can stay for lunch until 1pm for an additional $7 per day. My daughter was in the 4 year old class, which consisted of 1 teacher and 1 teacher's aide.

The teachers at this school are excellent. They really engage the children and seem to have complete control of the class. There are never any children running around or not paying attention. They do a great job engaging the children in the activities. The preschool has so many neat programs throughout the year. There is a Christmas program, Grandparents Day, Doughnuts for Dad, Mother's Day brunch, outdoor fun day, field trip at the school, pictures with real live bunnies for Easter, and an ID kit day. It is just really neat.

If you are seeking a good preschool or daycare for your child, you should first consider the activities that they will do. Other things you might consider are the cost, background and experience of the teachers, the child/teacher ratio, and how many day per week you need/want your child to attend school.
