the Cost of Private Preschools

The service provided was 3 days per week from 9am to 3pm for one child in a 3 year old classroom. The school was a church based private school. It was more of a school than a daycare as they had a structured lesson plans and qualified teachers verses day care workers.

The facility was clean and staff was great. There was a personalized aspect of the school which made me feel comfortable leaving my child there. The director of teh facility was always there and personally greeting the parents in the morning. She was also flexible about changing days, etc. if necessary. My daughter was there for 2 years and we plan to go back for the Pre-K 4 program next year. In comparison to other facilities, the cost was moderate. I did find less expensive facilities but I felt this facility was the best choice for what I was looking for in an pre-school eductaion program.

My advice would be to check around at a number of facilities and look for more than price, after all they are careing for your children. Though price is important with our depleting economy, the quality of care is essential to a good program.
