Last year a tornado flew near by my home, it wasn't close enough to where I got a direct hit, but the high speed winds did blow more than half of my roof off and I had to replace it. I went with the new metal roofs that I saw advertised on the television due to the durability and the fact that it helped with cooling costs in the summer. The total cost of installation was $3900 and this price included all parts, labor and taxes.
Review of Service
I am so happy with my new roof. I didn't think I was going to notice in the temprature of the house because of a roof, but it has made a big difference in keeping the inside of my home cool. The people that install the roof only took about three days to have everything up, and I am very happy with the results.
Tips
If you have to have another roof, I suggest you do it fast before a strong rain comes in. Rotting wood (do to rain leaking into your home) is more expensive than just having to replace the roof. If you're on a tight budget, and who isn't, try calling around to different places to see who is the cheapest. And by all mean, if you can get away with a simple repair instead of replacing the whole roof - go for the repair.
