My wife and I noticed that our roof was starting to fall apart and needed to be replaced, so we call around to a few different roofing companies to get quotes on a new roof. The company that we chose to go with gave us a quote of $3500 to put a new type of metal insulated roof that promised to keep our home cooler. We were asked to put half of that down, which we did, but the final price was actually about $3700.
Review of Service
The roof is great. I really didn't think it would keep our home that much cooler, but there is a noticeable difference. The company that put the roof on did a very good job, everything looks very nice and it didn't take very long to put the roof up. I think they were at my house for a total of three days. Overall, this is a great service that is saving me money on my electric bill (by keeping my house cooler).
Tips
If you need a roof, you have to get one so call around and see who has the best prices. I wouldn't go with the cheapest you find because you have to worry about the quality. You can also ask family and friends for referrals.
