Description of service
This service was for the cost of paint and labor to have my parent house painted in Columbus, Ohio. After all the labor and the cost of paint the total amount was $700. The company I went with was a local company I found in the local newspaper. They came out and gave me a quote of $600 so the acutual cost was more than the original quote. They painted the outside of a two story wooden house green, and painted all the trim white.
Review of Service
I got good service. I was kind of upset when I found out the price was way more than the quote, but this was a big house and the final price was still the cheapest I could find. They took about three days to complete everything and I must admit that I am happy with the results. The paint looks good, and they also did a good job not getting paint in places I didn't want them to, like my sidewalks and yard. The house looks almost brand new.
Tips
I would call around and see what you can find. I found a ton of painters in the newspaper, and even more in the phone book. Why pay $1500 when you can make a few more phone calls and get the same job done at $700?
