Description of service
My new puppy chewed the back strap of my new $115 sandals. Needless to say I was really upset! I didn't want to throw them away, but the strap was in tiny pieces and so I called the shoe repair to see if they could help me. I was so worried I'd need to buy new shoes, but they told me I could turn my sandals into slip-ons by removing the strap of the other shoe and with a little work on the chewed one. That was fine with me.
Review of Service
The work was done quickly. I dropped the shoes off and picked them up the next day. I was really impressed with their work. You can't tell that they shoes had been damaged or even that they ever had a back strap. I nearly cried when they showed me my shoes. I was so sure I'd need to buy new ones.
Tips
My tips are to make sure you get all your options for repairing your shoes. There may be more than one way to fix your problem and some options are less expensive than others. I called a few places and only one was willing to do anything other than "Oh you'll need to pay a lot to get a new back strap."
