Description of service
The $40.00 price is the cost of one hour of private violin instruction. The fee covers the lesson only. There are other required materials such as music books, listening cds, a tuner, and rosin.
Review of Service
The quality of the service provided was excellent. The lesson was worth the price because it was a private lesson with a very experienced teacher. This teacher could focus solely on my child and help her perfect her technique. I enjoyed the level of attention given and that the teacher seemed very involved and passionate about violin music.
There were no negative points that I can think of.
Tips
It is worth your while to pay someone well for such a service. We have tried lesser priced teachers and the experience and patience is just not there in the same way it was with this teacher. It is important to expose your children to people who are both passionate and successful. My children are inspired by this teacher because she clearly loves what she does. Further, her experience is very helpful as she has been a strings player in this community for many years and can advise us on where to find certain supplies and that sort of thing.
