Description of service
From a local party planning company we rented tables, chairs, glass wear and table cloths. We had them delivered to our location as well.
Review of Service
I looked online to compare local rental companies for our backyard summer wedding. I found a local place with cheap delivery and good prices. We ended up renting 8 tables, 75 chairs, 100 drinking glasses, 8 table cloths and had them delivered to our location. When we recieved the glasses, one of them had a crack/chip in it that we reported right away and the price was taken off. Delivery was not free, but it was avery reasonable price. The company worked with me well, they didn't mind that i had to call a few times to change the number of rentals due to late rsvps, and they were always pleasent. Their website was easy to navigate, and they answered all emails sent in a very prompt manner. Overall I feel like we got a great deal price wise, and the service was friendly and prompt.
Tips
Make sure the website you are looking at is easy to navigate, because if they can't run a good website, that doesn't speak well of their overall service. Don't expect delivery to be free, but make sure you're getting a fair delivery price. I found that for us it was cheaper to go to the local walmart and buy plates and silverware than to rent from the company. That is a good way to go, and then we just donated the left over silverware that we will never use to a local food bank. Rentals aren't cheap, and if you are throwing the wedding at your home or a venue where you have to supply your own tables and things, know that one of the largest chunks of your budget will be going for the rentals.
