the Cost of Party Rentals

This is the price we paid to a party rental company for 45 folding chairs, a snow cone machine, and a popcorn popper for a child's birthday party. The price did not include delivery or pick-up fees, which would have been an additional twenty-five dollars. The chairs were $60, the snow cone machine was $35, and the popcorn popper was $40. The rental ran from Friday to Monday. If the rentals were not returned by closing on Monday, there would have been an additional late fee of $67.50 (the company calculated late fees at a rate of half of the original rental fees). Tax is not included in the price.

The people at the rental company were friendly and helpful. They offered many party rental options to meet a variety of needs. When I came to pick up the items, they loaded them in the car for me. I did have to sign a standard contract that would require me to replace items that may be damaged on return. However, this was not a problem. In fact, one of the chairs was damaged on return and they told me not to worry about it. I was very pleased with this company.

Ask family and friends if they know of a reputable party rental company. Also, read any contract carefully to see what your responsibilities are should something happen to anything you rent.
