the Cost of Party Rentals

Rental of 28 chairs (four packs of seven @ $20 a pack) picked up on Saturday and returned on Monday. These were white folding chairs and they came in canvas bags in sets of four that easily fit in the back of my SUV. I was required to leave a $100 refundable deposit and was going to be charged a $20 a day late fee if they were late. Pickup and delivery was available for a fee of $25 but I figured I was able to get the chairs home and back by myself.

When I arrived at the rental shop, they had my chairs ready and helped me load them. When I got them unpacked at home, a few of them needed cleaning before I used them and one of them was missing a rubber foot and was rusted where the rubber foot was gone so I couldn't use it on my hardwood floors. So I had twenty-seven usable chairs. I actually didn't need all the chairs, I really only figured on needing twenty-four and ended up only having room for twenty, so the one rusted chair didn't bother me much.

We were able to find this rental service through a friend; the business was actually a catering service but offered the rental of their chairs to us. It was well worth the investment and we felt we got a good bargain.
