Description of service

We rented through a local party planning company. We got tables, chairs, tablecloths and linen napkins. It did not include table decorations or silverware and plates.

Review of Service

This was a decent service. I was a little miffed because they had much better deals if the place settings were also included. By the time we'd started looking for table rentals we'd already signed a contract with our caterer who was including all tableware. I felt like if I could have combined these services I could have saved some money but neither the caterer or the outfit that rented us our tableware was interested in compromising. They delivered the tables and all other goods. They were there promptly and picked them up and took them back quickly once the reception was over. All in all it was fine but nothing stood out as great.

Tips

You should try to get a package deal with your caterer or at least ask your caterer if maybe they have someone they usually work with who doesn't only have good packages if certain things are involved. Get everything in writing, of course. I know that seems like common sense but you'd be surprised how many people don't do it.
