Description of service
The service included a porcelain dental bridge with metallic core. The costs mentioned are total costs including fees of the dentist, material costs and all taxes. It does not include initial consultation fees which was an extra amount. Part of the cost were reimbursed later to me by my dental insurance company. However this was a small amount compared to total cost of procedure.
Review of Service
The lady dentist who performed the dental bridge operation on me was very courteous, kind and pleasant to talk to. She had a calm and down to earth approach while dealing with the entire procedure and explained in detail about it. After initial assessment of the requirement, an imprint of my affected left lower jaw teeth was taken to make sure that the bridge is a perfect fit. In the second stage, my teeth on either side were polished and the bridge placed perfectly on them. It took a total of 3 consultations in all for the process.
Tips
Dental bridge cost is always considered per tooth. In my case it was total for three teeth at about 600$ per tooth. There are many options for the artificial teeth including iron metal, gold, porcelain-over-metal and pure ceramic. Plain metal are the strongest, while ceramic teeth are the most natural looking but quite weak. I preferred porcelain over metal core for its almost natural look and relative strength over ceramic.
