Description of service
My power steering pump went out in my Mercury. It was making noise and also the turning became too hard. This was my work car and was a huge concern to me. I went to the local dealership to get an estimate of how much the part and labor would run and they told me 325 dollars. The major concern i had was how long it would take since it was my work transportation. They told me they could take it in tomorrow and do the job in 4 hours or if they get it done before they would call me. And luckily i got the job done in time.
Review of Service
The next day i took it in and they finished the job a in a little over 2 hours. I waited there in the lobby where i was offered coffee and donuts free. They were very caring and polite. They lobby was clean unlike local mechanics around my town. I am still driving this car today and have not had any more problems with the power steering. They even gave me a 18 month warranty on the job. I was very pleased with the price and the service.
Tips
The dealership seems to be the place to take your car. It may cost a little more but its well worth it.They back there quality work.
