the Cost of Replacing a Car Window

One day I went out to my car, got in and found that I had exceptional hearing to things outside my car. But soon realized that my passenger side window was busted out. Oddly, nothing was stolen. Not even the wallet that I NEVER leave in my car which was sitting right in the middle of my seats.

I didnt call the police because it had to have been an accident by someone or a rock from the railroad tracks nearby. But I was in a panic because I had never had this happen to me before and didnt know what company to call. So I called my mechanic. He recommended a company that specialized in auto glass repair. But I was worried about the cost as I was already broke from the 1200 I spent in other repairs on this car.

The glass company that I called told me that they would be out within three hours and said it would cost 100.00. This gave me a little time to figure how I would get the money. However, they were there is 30 minutes! They then made the repair in less than an hour and I still didnt have the money! All I had was 40 bucks and some pocket lint. I had assumend that I would have had the money by the time they were here but I was wrong.

The guy said that I need to make the payment by check or cash. I told him that currently, all I had was 40.00. He called his office and they said that I could write a post dated check! No kidding?! I was surprised to find how nice they were about it and had the money for them by the end of the day and gave an extra 20.00 tip for their great service.

1st. Get the money you need before ordering services.Duh...

2nd. Dont park near railroad tracks.

3rd. Dont leave your wallet in the car.
