the Cost of Replacing a Car Window

My teenage son had somehow managed to break the driver side window in his Chevy Lumina and we used a nationally known car window replacement shop to have it fixed. After cost, labor and taxes the total price was about $110. They replaced the window, which is on an electronical roller, in about two hours time, but I did have an appointment.

This was a great service. The people at the shop were very clean and neat, unlike some other mechanic shops I have been to that are usually very dirty. The lady at the desk took my keys and told me it would be about two hours. My son and I went across the street to the mall and got something to eat, and before we knew it we went and picked up the car with the brand new driver side window. They had even cleaned the inside and outside of all of the other windows, so I was very impressed.

You can shop around for the cheapest price and the best deal. I called one place that wanted to charge me triple than what I actually paid so it does pay to call around for the best price.
