Description of service
The service is dry cleaning my (men's) shirts that I wear to work each day. The price is $2 per shirt at my local dry cleaner out the door. Tax is either included or not charged at all. But it is always $2 per shirt. It includes a hanger and I usually do light starch, but most any finish you want is the same $2 charge. The $2 is for three-day service. I believe same-day is $5 and overnight is $3 a shirt, but I never really find myself in a need to do that.
Review of Service
I am very pleased with my local dry cleaner. $2 a shirt seems very reasonable for me. It is a great convience to not have to worry about ironing and keeping them clean. I am terrible when it comes to that stuff and I have to look nice each and every day for my job. I don't know what I would do without dry cleaning! I have seen rates as cheap as $1 in big cities like New York, and rates as high as $4 per shirt in more rural areas. It is funny to me that dry cleaning is one of the few services that I have found to be cheaper in big cities.
Tips
My tip would be to find a good place that you trust and become a regular customer. Much less of a chance that your clothes get "lost" that way. I have had a problem with some places I tried once or twice, but once I got a regular place I have yet to have a problem with that.
