Description of service
Six white shirts with button-down collars were dry cleaned at a nearby cleaners. The shirts were only worn once and did not need any extra attention to sports or dirt marks. They were dropped off at 4:30 pm on one night and were ready at 5:30 pm on the next night when I went to pick them up.
Review of Service
I prefer my shirts to be heavy starched so that they don't wrinkle during the day when I am wearing them at work, and this dry cleaner did a good job of using the right amount of starch. Also, the turnaround time was great because I like to have my shirts in my closet in case I need to travel suddenly, so having them ready when promised means a lot to me as a customer. Sometimes I get back broken buttons on some shirts, but there were no problems this time. The shirts came back looking and smelling clean and they were pressed correctly, so I think the price of $2 per shirt is reasonable for this service.
Tips
Cleaning shirts is a pretty easy process, but make sure they count the shirts when you bring them in and before they write on the receipt. I don't tell them how many I have and make them count. I have sometimes sworn that I took six and when I only get five back there is nothing I can do. Now I count them at home and then watch as they count them at the store.
