Description of service
I had rented an 18' capri, a sailing boat, for 2 hours. It is a 5 seater boat and is very good for sailing purpose. I was asked for $40 per hour as rent but i managed to convince the dealer to $65 for 2 hours. I had also paid $500 as damage deposit, that was to be forfeited in case i was responsible for any damage was done to the boat.
Review of Service
The boat was in an extremely good condition and the sails were just like new ones. I was extremely satisfied with the service that i got at the price i had paid. The only thing i disliked about the service was the refundable security deposit; i think that was too much, though i got all of it back. Remember that you must be over 18 years old to rent a boat.
Tips
For all those who who are likely to rent a boat in the near future, i would like to suggest that you go in for advance booking, at least 3 days prior to the date of rental. This gives you ample boats to choose from and that too at a comparatively lesser price. Payments are done through credit card only. Do reach the venue at least half an hour before the time of renting the boat. Also, you must try your luck at bargaining.
