The price of assisted living facilities vary a great deal. The price of the facility that a family member of mine currently resides at is $1500 per month. We are very happy with the place that she is living, but it took a very long time to find just the right place that had everything that we were looking for. This place is similar to an apartment complex. Although it is an assisted living facility each resident basically has their own apartment and freedom. It is still considered an assisted living facility because of all the monitoring they offer. Each complex or apartment is equipped with an intercom directly linked to 24 hour help in case of any medical or any other emergencies. The $1500 per month covers their apartment with all of their recreations and part of their medical care also. Basically the only thing they need to buy out of pocket is their food, which there is a grocery store along with other stores right near the facility. They offer shuttle service within a certain area of the center for the convenience of all the residents there with is excellent.

The service which we receive for the price we are paying is very good I think. It is a very nice place and we have peace of mind knowing that or family member is happy and safe there and yet still has her freedom.
