Review of Service
Service is Okay, but we do have dropped calls, have calls wherein we cannot hear the other party, sometimes we cannot get dial tone (but not often). Remember it is not dependent on your phone service (but on your cable service). We did complain about a problem with reception, and though the reception was better, the phone now rings sporadically (similar to hearing Morse Code)
Tips
If you use a cable telephone, you depend upon the cable service to use your phone, however... when you do not have service to your cable, you do not have service to the telephone. If cable is "dead", your internet is also "dead". When we first got "hooked" up the the cable company, we had to have a modem hook-up. They automatically debit your checking account each month for the price of the service. They even notified me through email when my debit card was soon to be expires.
I highly recommend this service if you can stand the "dropped" calls and sometimes no dial tone, not able to hear incoming callers. There are negatives, but for the money it is good service. My son had to do the hook up including some of the installation.
