My husband got insurance through his job, however we were required to pay for a part of it every week. We paid 100 every week out of his pay check for the insurance. The insurance only covered 80 percent of hospitlization. If we went to the emergency room we were require to pay 100 per a visit. Urgent care cost us 50 per a vistit.
Review of Service
I thought the price was really high. 400.00 per a month for health insurance and for being health insurance it wasn't that great. In the past we have had cheaper health insurance that covered more.
It also took the company forever to send us our medical cards, and they kept stating they weren't recieving the paper work until finally I insured it to make sure they did get it. Then about three weeks later we got our cards.
I am thankful though we did have medical coverage because my son became ill just last month and had to be seen by a doctor.
Tips
Shop around for your health insurance find out how much you will be paying and make sure what you recieve in turn is worth it. Compare the companies to one another to you find one you really like.
