Description of service
My family and I went to Denver Colorado during Spring Break for a little ski vacation. I was told by a friend who lives there to spring for the SUV because it isn't uncommon for Colorado to get over a foot of snow in one night and some of the passes or main roads would close regularly. I'm certainly glad I got the SUV. It added up to about $80 per day which is expensive, but I don't think we could have gotten around any other way. I declined the insurance like I always do and have yet to have trouble as a result.
Review of Service
It took a little longer than I'm used to to rent the car because it was bad weather and I think a lot of people decided they needed an SUV also. Once I got to the window they were friendly and fast to get me through the line and on the road. The only additional cost I had to pay was extra gas when I returned the SUV. Of course gas was close to $4 in the mountains. All in all a great rent.
Tips
Remember if you go for the car it might not be safe enough on the roads. Colorado allows spiked tires and chains so you might want to consider the extra cost of renting an SUV.
