Description of service
The $6500 figure represents the full cost for a month-long marketing/advertising group for a local college student group that we contracted out. It included radio spots, several adds in local papers, as well as a lot of PR work for news coverage. The goal was to get our group out there in the community and to improve membership/participation. We felt that we did a lot of good work but that nobody knew about us, so such an advertising campaign was a necessity.
Review of Service
The $6500 price tag was a lot for us to handle, but in the end, it was well worth every penny. Advertising these days simply is not cheap. To get your name or your group/company's name out there in a sufficient matter, it takes an advertising campaign like this one sometimes. Just the price of doing business. We were thrilled with how effective our campaign was, and it actually tripled our membership within the next 3 months. Couldn't ask for much more than that! We might even make back the money the campaign cost us via increased membership dues.
Tips
Sometimes it takes money to make money so to speak. Marketing and advertising campaigns can be a good investment if you are smart about how you go about them. If you cannot afford a pricey campaign, be creative with free advertising on the internet!
